Sleep Token - Original Guitar Solo

This performance is a live, one-take recording of an original guitar solo Andrew wrote over top of an instrumental break in Sleep Token’s ‘The Love You Want.’ Students of Andrew can learn his approach to music theory, creative applications of guitar techniques and how he develops his musical intuition so they can craft guitar solos of their own and truly express the music that’s in their heads.

Retrofuturist - Vivid

This play-through features Andrew performing an original song “Vivid’ by his band Retrofuturist. Vivid is composed of extremely intricate riffing with challenging rhythms and rapid-fire string skipping.

Estudio No. 6 - Agustín Barrios

Barrios’ Estudio No. 6 is a challenging etude from the RCM level 10 repertoire list. The study works on arpeggios in a variety of styles across the entirety of the fretboard, giving both the left hand and the right hand a workout in endurance, control and accuracy.

Periphery - Graveless

Graveless is the 4th track from Periphery’s album ‘Juggernaut: Omega.’ In this performance Andrew plays alongside the album stems (the individual tracks from the recording) and replaces all of the primary guitar tracks with a single track taken from his live performance of the song. What you see is what you hear with zero edits.

Bilmuri - E G G: Solo Transcription

This video is an example of one of many that Andrew regularly posts on his Youtube channel and Instagram account. It is a transcription - meaning it was learned entirely by ear, and is one of the most important skills a successful musician needs to develop. Andrew’s students will learn the same skill through their theory training and ear training.

Andrew’s cover was the first highly-accurate take on the solo from E G G by the artist Bilmuri and is still receiving comments from guitarists asking for ‘how-to’ demonstrations and written TABs for them to learn from.

Trivium - The Thing That’s Killing Me: Full Production Cover

In this cover of the solo from Trivium’s song The Thing That’s Killing Me, Andrew performed every part heard in the recording - nothing from the original track was used. Andrew recorded all of the rhythm guitar and bass parts in addition to transcribing and programming the drums. Once everything but the solo was recorded, he performed a live take of the solo over the rest of the tracks.
